Anderson Feed Supply was burglarized during the night between October 1st and October 2nd. The suspect’s had forced entry into the business and took approximately $10,000 worth of merchandise. A crime scene technician responded and processed the scene for evidence. The owner was able to provide the serial numbers for many of the items so the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office entered these items on the Georgia Crime Information Center and National Crime Information Center network.

Upon searching a residence in White County, investigators located an assortment of gas powered equipment and landscaping supplies. Further investigation lead Hall and Lumpkin County investigators to a home in Hall County where they located additional stolen items, of which approximately $500.00 worth was from Anderson Feed Supply in Dahlonega. Lumpkin County investigators recovered the property and returned it to Anderson Feed Supply.

Investigators from Lumpkin County will be applying for burglary arrest warrants for Kyrie Alexis White (21) of Gainesville, Jon Howard Irving (25) of Gainesville, Jonathon Levi Hunt (18) of Gainesville, and Richard Wayne Matthews (19) of Cleveland. Matthews is currently being held at the White County Detention Center and the other three are being held in Hall County on charges stemming from the rash of burglaries.

This is another example of how the communication and the sharing of information between law enforcement agencies is vital in locating those who prefer to victimize others. It is also an essential part of how law enforcement agencies can try to deter further crimes and keep our communities safe.
